Leica Geosystems’ User Conferences for Laser Scanning and Airborne Sensing Expand to Become Hexagon 2011 International Conference Print E-mail

(Norcross, GA., 10 February 2011) Leica Geosystems’ High-Definition Surveying (HDS™) Worldwide User Conference and Airborne Sensor (ABS) User Conference will participate in this new format, offering attendees an unprecedented variety of sessions, hands-on training, networking and new business opportunities under the Hexagon 2011 umbrella.

According to Ken Mooyman, President of Leica Geosystems, NAFTA, “In addition to tracks in HDS™ and Geospatial Solutions, we will inaugurate an eagerly awaited program for users of surveying, construction, mapping, and positioning technologies called “Trends in Mapping & Positioning for Government and Industry”. Our objective with this track is to educate conference attendees on trends and technologies that will fundamentally impact the way we do business in years to come”

Hexagon AB, leading, global provider of 3D solutions to design, measure and position objects and to process and present data, will host its inaugural international conference, Hexagon 2011, 6-9 June at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort in Orlando, Florida, USA. Hexagon 2011 will bring together the latest technologies and user communities from Intergraph®, as well as Hexagon’s Metrology, Geosystems and Technology divisions, in one location to provide attendees with a user experience of unprecedented scope and value.
