The kit self-retracting ‘kick stand’ is great for poles and rods of all kinds
Redding, CA — SECO has agreed to manufacture Gardner Engineering’s Rod Rest. The Rod Rest (#5214-01 for ¼-inch OD poles and #5214-02 for 1-inch OD poles) is a self retracting ‘kickstand’ for prism poles or other types of poles and rods.
The Rod Rest attaches quickly with one thumbscrew and is activated by simply pushing down a few inches on the handle. It holds the rod at a 20 degree zenith angle. The legs then self-retract when the rod or pole is lifted.
The Rod Rest is made of anodized durable-machined aluminum that won’t rust or fatigue and has a stainless steel clamp screw.
