MicroSurvey and Leica Partner for RX1250 Solution
Written by MicroSurvey Software
Wednesday, 11 June 2008
MicroSurvey Software Inc. is pleased to announce that a very special build of FieldGenius is now available for the Leica RX1250 Windows CE based survey controller.
Built using proprietary Leica interface information and designed to take full advantage of the integration capabilities of the RX1250, the result is an example of how two companies can work together to create a superior solution for surveyors and engineers. The design and implementation was a joint effort between MicroSurvey's design team and Leica's technical departments in the US and Switzerland.
"Leica approached MicroSurvey because they were hearing good things about FieldGenius. We were thrilled to get the opportunity to work with a state of the art survey controller, so we built our best ever version of FieldGenius.", said Darcy Detlor, President of MicroSurvey. "The RX1250 is a fabulous controller and we take full advantage of the design to provide a solution unique in the industry with our code free linework."
The FieldGenius Premium RX1250 version is now available in English and Spanish language versions through Leica Direct Sales in the US and Canada, along with selected Leica dealers. MicroSurvey looks forward to releasing additional language versions in various countries throughout the world.
