Traverse PC Announces New Update Policy for Unsupported Versions
Written by Traverse PC
Tuesday, 01 July 2008
Florence, OR - 7/1/08 - Traverse PC users with old (unsupported) versions of TPC Desktop can now update to any edition of the current version for Half Price (currently $400 for Personal, $700 for Premium or $1000 for Professional). The update comes with a FREE printed learning guide set, FREE Web Seminars on the new features and FREE One-on-one and On-Line training.
Since TPC Desktop continues to use the same views and hot keys we’ve used since V1.0, users can be up and running right away after updating. Plus they can open any of their existing Traverse PC files directly with the current version.
Traverse PC, Inc. no longer writes software for DOS, Windows 95 and other older operating systems. Yet many Traverse PC users hang onto their versions for years, often until their old computer finally dies. In the past, users received discounts of 20% - 40% off retail price when updating unsupported versions. This new policy represents a more affordable update path along with the added flexibility to choose an edition.
