30-Year Business Veteran Focuses on Increasing Environmental Engineering and Municipal Markets

Lancaster, Pa. – RETTEW, a comprehensive engineering, planning and environmental consulting firm serving the mid-Atlantic region, recently welcomed Gene P. Lohr to increase business development in the environmental engineering and municipal markets within the firm’s northeast and southeast Pennsylvania regions.

In his role, Lohr focuses on developing and growing RETTEW’s municipal and environmental engineering markets and client base in the firm’s northeast and southeast Pennsylvania regions, which include Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton and Schuylkill Counties.

With more than 30 years of management and operations experience in both domestic and international business, Lohr brings to RETTEW a diverse background that includes business development, client relationship management and strategic and long-range planning. His career includes advising domestic and international governmental agencies on environmental issues and infrastructure development. Previously, Lohr presided over a management and consulting firm that worked with the public and private sectors.

Lohr is also a member in several community and governmental organizations that promote economic growth and development, including the Governor’s Action Team of Pennsylvania, Chester County Economic Development Council, International Visitors Council of Philadelphia and the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia. He is also a board member of the Jamaican Trade Council of Greater Philadelphia and Tridon Industries, Inc. Lohr holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown University and is a resident of Malvern, Chester County.
