Dehui Su Joins Montgomery & Associates as Senior Engineer Print E-mail

Houston, TX – April 10, 2008 – Gary Montgomery, president of Montgomery & Associates, a Houston based civil engineering and consulting services firm, is pleased to announce that Dehui Su, Ph.D. has joined the company as Senior Engineer specializing in hydraulics and hydrology.

“We are privileged to have Dehui working with us at Montgomery & Associates,” commented Montgomery.  “His extraordinary background and experience are extremely important to the company and our clients.   Living and working in the Houston area, makes his storm water modeling, drainage and flood control planning expertise crucial to many of our projects and we look forward to building on his knowledge.”

With over 20 years experience, most recently as Project Engineer for a consulting firm in Houston, Dr. Su has worked on water quality models and water quality prediction for the China Yangtze Three Gorges Project, one of the biggest hydropower-complex projects in the world, as well as projects in Spain.

In recent years his focus has been on storm water modeling, drainage, and flood control planning with HE-HMS, HEC-RAS, and GIS applications. He is also a Lecture Professor of Xinjiang University of Agriculture and Chongqing Jiao tong University, China and author/co-author of 20 publications.

Su holds a Doctor of Engineering from Lamar University, Texas and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Hohai University (Former East China Water Resources Institute), Nanjing, China.  He also has an MS in Civil Engineering from Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China; and a BS in Civil Engineering from Northwest University of Agriculture, Yangling, China.  Su is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas #97407.
