CivilEngineeringCentral.com Expands Site to Include Blog & Forum
Written by CivilEngineeringCentral.com
Monday, 04 February 2008
CivilEngineeringCentral.com, a niche job board catering exclusively to the civil engineering industry, expands its website to include a blog & a full service forum. It is the goal of CivilEngineeringCentral.com to create a community between civil engineers and the hiring managers, recruiters, and human resources professionals employed in the industry.
Myersville, MD, February 4, 2008 -CivilEngineeringCentral.com -A/E/P Central, LLC, is pleased to announce two new enhancements to www.CivilEngineeringCentral.com. With the incorporation of a new blog, owners Matt Barcus & Carol Metzner are able to discuss topics that are current and relevant to the civil engineering industry, specifically as they relate to recruiting, job search, hiring, employee retention and other related issues. With over 30 years of human resources and recruiting experience in the civil engineering industry, they have a lot to offer. They have also created a new Forum which ties into a brand new group that is in its infancy on LinkedIn; the name of the group is, of course, Civil Engineering Central. If you are on the LinkedIn network search for Matt or Carol and the Civil Engineering Central group icon and join them on their mission. If you are not on LinkedIn, you can register for the forum by clicking on the Forum button on their home page. The purpose of the forum is to provide an avenue for all members of the civil engineering community to openly discuss and share with each other anything and everything as it relates to hiring, firing, recruiting, employee retention and other work place matters. The civil engineering workplace is very unique compared to most other industries, and a forum where recruiters, hiring managers, HR professionals, and employees of civil engineering organizations can share their knowledge is well needed.
