Nashua, NH Microdesk Principal and Partner Michael DeLacey today announced the appointment of Darren End as Chief Financial Officer of the 90 person CAD and IT software sales, development and consulting firm.
"Darren brings a tremendous level of financial expertise to our team," stated DeLacey. "He's responsible for taking Microdesk's financial operations to a new level by adding more structure, accountability, and processes that enable us to operate more efficiently so that we can focus on delivering greater value to our clients. His extensive background in software and financial services has enabled him to become a major contributor to our success."
Prior to joining Microdesk in 2006, End held senior financial management positions with rapidly growing software companies, both domestically and abroad, helping them secure venture capital, prepare for initial public stock offerings, and consolidate financial operations after mergers and acquisitions.
End has recently been responsible for developing a new banking relationship for the growing firm which has expanded to southern California and D.C. over the last several years and has additional new offices planned for both coasts slated to open this year.
End is a Massachusetts resident who also serves as treasurer and board member of the Brush Art Gallery & Studios in Lowell, Massachusetts, a non-profit organization that supports working artists with studio space, exhibitions, and creative education programs.
