Pennoni Welcomes Jeffrey A. Horneman, PLS, as Senior Surveyor

Philadelphia– Pennoni Associates, an award-winning consulting engineering firm headquartered in Philadelphia, is pleased to announce that Jeffrey A. Horneman, PLS, has joined its Pittsburgh Civil/Site/Landscape Architecture Division as Senior Surveyor. Mr. Horneman comes to Pennoni from the US Army Corps of Engineers in Pittsburgh where he served as Land Surveyor and Realty Specialist.
Mr. Horneman specializes in Land Surveying, Cartography, GIS, Land Planning, and Federal Real Estate Acquisition and Management. He has 16 years of experience as surveyor for the Army Reserves and seven years experience as a surveyor for the Air Force Reserves. In his new role, he will work on Land Surveying, Cartography, and Real Estate Planning and Consulting throughout the Western Pennsylvania region.
“As a Professional Land Surveyor, Jeffrey is a great addition to Pennoni Pittsburgh because of his extensive knowledge of the survey technology,” stated Ron Schipani, RLA, Civil/Site/Landscape Architecture Division Manager. “We can now better serve our existing and prospective clients by providing expanded high quality survey services that are locally based in Western PA.”
Mr. Horneman is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors and received his education at the Defense Mapping School in Fort Belvoir, VA, in Geodetic Survey. He also studied Geology, Soils, Engineering and Cartography at the US Army Institute of Professional Development. Mr. Horneman is a resident of Natrona Heights, PA. He and his wife Sharon have four sons named Daniel, Derek, Nicolas and Benjamin.
