Livermore, CA -- Topcon Positioning Systems now offers a GSM upgrade for its GR-3 GNSS receiver.
A GSM cell modem upgrade kit is available to GR-3 customers who originally purchased the radio version.
“One of the major competitive advantages of the GR-3 receiver is the inclusion of both internal radio and GSM cell modem communications in one receiver,” said Jamie Williamson, senior vice president of sales and marketing. “For customers working in a local radio and a network environment, having both options is essential to maximum efficiency.”
The GR-3 incorporates Topcon’s G3 technology to track all available satellites, now and in the future.
The GSM upgrade is available in both 915 spectrum and UHF radio versions.
