New ISV Recognized for Expertise in Civil Engineering Solutions
Dubuque, Iowa, Aug. 22, 2007 – Eagle Point Software Corporation today announced its relationship with Autodesk as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV). The Pinnacle Task Navigator for Autodesk Civil 3D software, Eagle Point’s initial ISV product offering, integrates standard workflow templates aimed at increasing productivity by presenting “best practices” in a compact, intuitive interface. Eagle Point solutions are designed to enhance the business of Autodesk and Eagle Point’s mutual customers, by allowing users to gain full advantage of the powerful features built into the Autodesk Civil 3D platform.
In announcing the ISV relationship, John Biver, president and CEO of Eagle Point, said, “We are truly excited about the opportunity to work closely with Autodesk. The combination of the Autodesk Civil 3D platform with our Pinnacle Task Navigator will bring our joint users to new levels of implementation and productivity.” Biver added, "Due to our long history in the civil engineering market, we are uniquely qualified to develop and deploy Autodesk Civil 3D solutions.”
“At Autodesk, our goal is to continue our leadership in design with the most comprehensive solutions,” said Masako Takagi, director, ISV North American Channel at Autodesk. “We recognize that Eagle Point’s products running on Autodesk Civil 3D, coupled with their vast experience in implementing technology solutions for the civil engineering market, create unique offerings that allow both of our companies to mutually extend value to our customer base.”
