Topcon's New TopField Software Packs Features for Onboard System
Written by Topcon

Livermore, CA -- Topcon's new TopField software for the CTS-3000 and GTS-100N series total stations is designed to meet the basic needs of a contractor or topo/stake-out surveyor while offering more than a basic onboard system.
Scott Langbein, TPS product marketing manager, said, “TopField allows the user to enter building plan data from paper plans or electronic files.” Coordinates can be uploaded and downloaded using Topcon Link or Topcon Tools software. “At times it is best to keep setup, layout and topo simple and straight forward. That is what we have done with TopField.”
The new TopField software is able to handle multiple job files and measures in feet and 10ths, meters, or feet and inches. Langbein said, “TopField allows a user to get to work in minutes without a lot of software setup. It is always there onboard ready to go.”
TopField is included with CTS-3000 and GTS-100N series total stations at no additional cost. Upgrades for other models may be available by checking with the local dealer.
