Growth triggers firm ’s relocation
BHC RHODES civil engineering and surveying firm moved its corporate headquarters out of Corporate Woods after nine years at that location. The firm leased an initial 12,500 square feet from Executive Hills with the intent to expand again to 18,500 square feet within the next eighteen months. “We are delighted to have one of Kansas City’s leading engineering firms, BHC RHODES, join us at our building, 6363 College Boulevard,” said Larry Bridges, President of Executive Hills Management, Inc.
The phase two expansion will better serve customers in the area by allowing for additional civil engineering capacity and creating an opportunity for a Johnson County surveying operation. “We continually hire great people in response to demand for our services. There is the potential to add an additional 35 employees over the next year and a half,” said Kevin Honomichl, BHC RHODES’ President.
The move comes on the heels of the recent 7,400 square feet expansion of their Kansas City, KS office where they currently operate their surveying services. “6363 College afforded BHC RHODES the space they need immediately and the flexibility to expand over time. Executive Hills took the time to help them create a space that is employee-centric and eye-catching all at the same time. It’s a great fit at a great location,” said Mike Levitan, RED Brokerage, LLC An open house event and ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce is planned for September 12th.
