C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, Inc., in partnership with various regional and national firms, has been awarded several projects involving the reconstruction of New Orleans area levee systems by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers. According to Kam Movassaghi, Ph.D., P.E., President of Fenstermaker, “These projects are being conducted under compressed time schedules. To better manage these projects and to provide the very best of services, Fenstermaker recently announced the formation of its Government Sector under the direction of Vice President, Mr. Brad Hamilton, P.E. To further staff this new division, Fenstermaker is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Keith Roberts, P.L.S. as the Program Manager for all surveying projects and Mr. Om Dixit, P.E., who recently joined the firm, as Program Manager for all engineering projects. With these appointments, we have two highly qualified and experienced individuals who will guide the successful and timely completion of these projects.”

Mr. Hamilton (right) adds, "As licensed professionals with almost 50 years experience between them, Mr. Roberts and Mr. Dixit possess the organizational and managerial skills that are required to manage our numerous Government Sector projects. Their knowledge and experience coupled with their extensive Corps of Engineers experience will greatly enhance our ability deliver professional results in a timely manner."

Mr. Roberts (left) is a registered professional land surveyor in the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Tennessee. He has been with Fenstermaker for over twenty-seven years. Mr. Roberts is responsible for coordinating and conducting all survey activities related to Government Sector projects and for estimating task orders and participating in contract negotiations. He served as Survey Operations Manager for over twelve years and Party Chief for over fifteen years. He has coordinated all field operations for Fenstermaker and supervised survey crews throughout the country. Mr. Roberts has been responsible for training office and field personnel on the latest surveying technologies. He has performed survey projects including Topographic, Boundary/Property, Hydrographic, Pipeline, Roadway, Seismic, Subsidence, Construction, Mine, Oil & Gas, Geodetic, Hazard, and Accident Surveys.

Mr. Om Dixit, P.E. (right) has forty years of experience and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Louisiana, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas. Mr. Dixit is responsible for coordinating all engineering efforts for Government Sector projects. Throughout his career, he has designed, supervised and managed an extensive amount of engineering projects. These projects included roadway design, bridge design, environmental assessment, line and grade studies, hydraulic analysis, traffic and signalization, water treatment plants, sewerage treatment plants, and industrial buildings. Mr. Dixit has marketed, negotiated and coordinated projects with clients such as Louisiana DOTD, City of New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, St. Bernard Port, U. S. Army Corp of Engineers and more.
