Colorado – November 30, 2012 – Merrick & Company’s (www.merrick.com) Matt West, PLS, recently joined the Board of Directors for MOVE Colorado. MOVE Colorado is a private industry organization that provides information, sponsors education programs, and supports the efforts of Colorado community, business, and political leaders to solve transportation funding issues. As a board member West’s goal will be to continue the mission of the organization, connect with others in the transportation industry, provide support to the Board, and leadership on a range of MOVE Colorado initiatives.
West stays active within his industry and has offered leadership with the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), Master Builders Association (MBA), and Society of Military Engineers (SAME). He offers over 30 years of management, business development experience in the energy, transportation, land development and water resource market sectors. He is responsible for the financial performance, business development and day-to-day operations of the Merrick’s Survey Group.
Vern Lee, Professional Land Surveyor and U.S. Certified Federal Surveyor, received his 11th professional license from the State of Alaska. His license was acquired to support Merrick & Company’s initiative to procure business opportunities in the 49th State. High-Definition Surveying has been Lee’s focus of expertise for more than 15 years.
