Public Service Announcement: Beware, The Ticks Have Arrived Early Print E-mail
Written by David Mann, LS
Thursday, 14 June 2012

If there was ever a group that needed to be aware of the threat from ticks, it's surveyors. David Mann, a licensed surveyor from New Hampshire, has compiled an excellent, exhaustive article about the types of ticks, how they operate, and most importantly, the things you can do—including clothing treatment—to protect yourself from the possible devastating effects of a tick bite. The 1.68Mb Word doc can be found HERE

I came across the article while reading the Kansas Society's newsletter, but it originally appeared in the New Hampshire Society's newsletter. Our thanks to the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association and David for allowing us to spread the word.
