If there was ever a group that needed to be aware of the threat from ticks, it's surveyors. David Mann, a licensed surveyor from New Hampshire, has compiled an excellent, exhaustive article about the types of ticks, how they operate, and most importantly, the things you can do—including clothing treatment—to protect yourself from the possible devastating effects of a tick bite.
