Network corrected real-time is a technological approach to high precision GPS/ GNSS positioning that has been theorized about, studied, experimented with, and implemented in various academic, scientific, and commercial forms for nearly a decade. Rj Zimmer is the GIS Director for DJ&A, PC, an engineering, surveying, and geospatial technology company with offices in Helena and Missoula, Montana. Mr. Zimmer has 20 years of GIS experience managing and using GIS as a GIS consultant and in local government, and he was formerly the GIS Manager for Lewis & Clark County, Montana. Mr. Zimmer is a professional land surveyor, registered in Oregon and Montana, and has 30 years experience surveying and mapping in the private and public sectors. He earned a B.Sc. in engineering-physics from Oregon State University, has published more than 50 articles on GIS and surveying.
