Job Description

Responsibilities include:  a) teaching 12 credits each term in surveying fundamentals, drainage, geodetics, GPS, construction surveys and similar subjects, b) aid in maintaining field and computer equipment, c) establish good communication with students and other colleagues, d) assist with representing the program at local and state meetings of professional land surveyors, e) assist with meetings of professional land surveyors, e) assist with accreditation efforts, f) conduct research endeavors, g) other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications Minimum qualifications: include an advanced degree in Surveying and Mapping or related discipline, with emphasis in subjects listed above. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional land surveyor is required. Professional experience, the ability to apply technical skills and to communicate effectively are essential. Previous teaching experience is valuable.
Compensation $50,000-$60,000
