GeoDigital International Corp., a US and Canadian based technology services company, is experiencing rapid growth and we are focused on developing exciting new airborne data capture technologies.
We are currently interested in finding the right person to fill the position of a full-time experienced Geomatics Engineer or Surveyor based in Lompoc CA, Victoria BC, Toronto or Ottawa ON.
Position Description
As a key member of the team, while deployed in the field, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and operating airborne remote sensors and/or cameras for a fixed wing aircraft or helicopter environment. Extensive travel will be required of you. You are not required to relocate for this position.
Successful candidate will focusing their efforts working with computers, video, lasers and digital cameras in an aircraft environment.
Candidates demonstrating leadership experience will be considered for fast track training to become a field ops team leader with a commensurate increase in responsibility and compensation.
Employment term: Full Time with regular out of town work and mandatory travel.
Base of Operations: Lompoc CA, Victoria BC, Toronto or Ottawa ON.
Education and Experience
The right candidate will have a university degree or college diploma with technical training and experience with aerial survey technologies utilizing digital photography and Lidar
Minimum five 5 years exp with background in geodesy, GPS theory, conventional survey techniques, and a thorough working knowledge of related software and data capture systems.

Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
Work Authorization
US or Canadian Citizen.
Valid Drivers’ License.
